I just took a wholly unscientific but quite fun "IQ adventure test" over at OKCupid. It was well implemented, and calibrated for typing speed (a good idea I haven't seen in other tests). It's split up unto verbal, math, social, and spatial. I kicked ass at spatial, followed closely by verbal. My math score sucked (programming has NOTHING TO DO with math. Seriously) and my social score was mediocre. I used to think I sucked at all artistic/visual stuff, but the more I think about it (not just this random test) I think it has to do with the fact that I'm so bad at REPRODUCING it physically. I learned through art class in middle school that I had no art skills because I can't draw for shit. And now I have no confidence when it comes to anything visual. I should get over that.
What exactly does Set test? I suck horribly at that game, but I guess it isn't really a spatial game, since the symbols are abstract and physical positioning doesn't matter at all. Actually now it makes sense why I suck at it...
