2008!
Another year done. I guess it was pretty good. Not bad all around, solid but not exceptional marks. Some room for improvement.
I actually had a pretty good day today. I went in to work, completely optional, to do some long-needed code reorganization and improvement tasks that are easier when people aren't at work. It kind of shows my obsession with making things better, but I actually did quite enjoy it. Also, there was no one around to distract me, which meant I got more done in 3 hours than I do in most work days. As I was leaving work, there was an awesome sunset, which is documented in jwz's lj post. Great way to end the last day of the year. Then, I went over to a coworkers house, and a bunch of us played board games until way past midnight. Just got home. As far as endings to years go, this was a pretty good one.
I'm actually looking forward to next year. Let's see how it goes...
