It's a simplified two dimensional representation of the lines of motion of Kenpo. In short, I have Kenpo permanently on the -outside- of me, instead of just permanently inside. It's actually a patch on my uniform, called the 'universal patch'
Also, my grandmother wanted to come. she took the pictures and asked all the questions i was supposed to ask. She's an artist (by trade, she raised 4 kids by painting and teaching) and one of my favorite people in all the universe. she'd never seen anyone get tattooed before, and was really excited and curious.
