Saturday was a long day. It started at around 6 something when i woke up from a pleasant dream of being kissed passionately by an attractive lady.
I did manage to fall back to sleep, for a little while at least, until the noisy world and a desire to get a leg up on the day roused me from my super comfy bed. Shower, shave, hair gel, cereal, drive lazily to karate. Class was great, as usual. Teaching was good, too.
I took a little walk to get a sub for lunch, then walked back and paused at a neat new t-shirt store on Elm St. I noticed they had the same laptop there as i'm using right now, but that they had encrypted their network and not put the pw on the laptop itself, so it was essentially unusable. i smiled to myself and considered buying one of the many funny shirts. Time was not on my side, as i realized once i'd arrived back at my studio, and i rushed to get changed. Colin was there waiting patiently for me, and class started just as we stepped out. Colin had a great time and even signed up for the trial month. Awesome!
Next I ran 3 miles. I can really stop calling it jogging.
Then there was a small break where my cousin Luke gave me my birthday present. It was pokemon figurines. The touching part was when he told me why. This one is really tough, he can take a punch like you. This one is really smart like you. This one really likes water. This one is really strong. this one is really fast and flexible. This one is a guardian.
(Thank you, Luke. I've taken them to work, now I just need to make appropriate labels for them.)
at 4pm I went back to the karate studio for the makeup camp. I taught for hours on end. Then we watched rocky VI and, of course, i cheered.
10 hours, 45 minutes at the karate studio. I don't think I can adequately describe how much I love Kenpo with words alone, nor with pictures; but those who have seen me run my forms know how much I love it.

kenpo, teaching
