I was told by a police officer today that "skateboarding anywhere in the city of manchester is illegal" except for the skateboard park. The skateboard park is frequented by punks and such, and also has nothing to do with longboarding. I can ride in empty parking lots, though. great.
In other great news, i heard congress has legalized torture. Or at least can decide what is torture and what isn't, which is the same thing. I'm fairly certain we're breaking international law. Oh but don't be afraid, it's not like they can just abduct you in the night and torture you for no reason. We have had rights in this country. Oh well, i wasn't using my civil liberties anyway.
