More random Shanghai-ness
So i woke up today feeling worse than ever from jetlag. I decided to get some room service to help me wake up. Also, I was lazy.
picture of my breakfast. soy taro milk drink. chinese green tea. congee with the various accoutrements. various dim sum. those crispy fried strip thingss.......and a fruit plate.
so after breakfast....i napped. but then i went to the business center. fun times!

Shanghai Grand Theater as seen from the pool walkway. very close. ill check it out later to see if anything in english is going on. even if its not, ill give it a whirl. weee

i bet you were expecting a picture of the actual pool. but no...view of the grand theater and the Shanghai Art Museum.

thats a lot of people crossing the street
a mall i came across. over the course of the day, i came to realize there was no less than 3 megamalls within 10 mins walking time.

"banana leaf curry house" - where i had dinner
halfway through my meal, some ladies came out and started singing whitney houston's "i wanna dance with somebody" with acoustic guitar and drum accompaniment. the blur in the picture is from her frantic dance moves. please note the guy sitting in front of her.
and they were joined later by a main wearing a cops hat - he sang into his baton. it was too good to pass up and a picture would not have done it justice so here's my first video. sorry for the sidewayness of it.
