double lab day, except not really
Hereth begins week 2 of year 2 of college.
Today was supposed to be my first ECE 225 lab. On Tuesdays, I have CS 107 lab in the morning, then ECE 225 lab in the afternoon... except that the TA didn't bother to show up to the ECE lab. >_> We all waited outside of the lab room for like an hour before everyone finally gave up and left. How about a breakdown of the wait?
10:50 am - I find the lab room and stand outside with half a dozen other people.
11:00 am - There's about 20 people waiting now. The door to the lab room opens and the previous class leaves. We realize that there's no TA inside the room, so we all continue to stand outside.
11:10 am - The girls (all 4 of us >_>) get tired of standing so we sit. The guys remain standing.
11:15 am - There are exactly 4 girls and 24 guys. Yup... 4 girls, 24 guys. All the guys continue to stand.
11:40 am - Ok, I think I fell asleep for a bit. (*pulls a Yakumo* XD) It's been over half an hour and the guys just refuse to sit or something.
11:45 am - Everyone gives up and leaves except for 2 guys and the 4 girls. Oddly enough, now the 2 guys finally decide sit down. >_> Er... why?
12:00 pm - We find our professor teaching in a room down the hall, and he tells us to just forget about lab and go. If only we would have found him like half an hour ago. >_>
And yeah, that's how I came to waste an hour of my morning waiting, and then another 2 hours of my afternoon aimlessly reading at a Barnes and Noble. ^^
I have this incredibly painful sore on the roof on my mouth that makes it impossible to eat anything without causing tears to stream out of my eyes. :( The only food that won't irritate the sore? Lukewarm jello. Yeah, it can't even be cold. >_>
