Short Story
So the other night I had this inspiration to write part of a short story. The part of the story I had come up with is actually a scene from the middle of the story, but hey! at least it's something! This was actually the first time in quite a while that i felt the need to sit and write.
The story is going to be a Cinderella-type story, but with extremely obvious deviation from the traditional tale. I'm sort of hoping that this turns out to be kind of therapeutic in a way, and I'm excited to sew how it will turn out! :)
I'm a pretty creative person... But only when it comes to words. I am not a visual person at all, and I can never make my hand draw what I see on my head. Tell me to create a picture with words though and I will do it well, and enjoy every moment. Right now I am finishing up Drawing I at school, and have been experiencing a lot of creative frustration since i can't accurately create images on my page. Two more days of that, a short break, then on to fun classes (finally!)
I'm not being sarcastic either... I'm truly excited for my fall semester when I will be taking a nurse's assistant course, history (antiquity through the 18th century), biology, and college algebra. (Okay... the last one sucks... but at least its better than art!)
