On Blank Spaces

Man, why did I do that?

It's not that I don't like this thing anymore, or that it's not useful... I just... haven't written.

Anyway, here I am, in the cradle of Spring Break and on the cusp of sea-side nautical voyage via car.

School is nuts.  I am perfectly in charge of and on top of Milton and my Ed. Psych class (midterm in Milton came back- A; My 2.5-hour presentation in Ed. Psych was knocked out of the park), but Astronomy I can't seem to make it to, History is kicking my fucking ass, and Spanish is hanging me out to dry.

Lily got extremely sick a couple weeks ago, and I had to care for her.  In the process, I naturally acquired some form of viral infection, which is now saying its goodbyes.  My nose won't stop bleeding.  Possibly a result of the temperature change.

I got in fight after fight with my dad.  He's just plain being a colossal prick.  Mostly about money.
We fought, again and again, and I put him in his place, but ultimately he resorts to his argument of, "I pay for the roof over your head; you can get the hell out."  Fucker.

On Wednesday I began learning a karate form called, "Shaolin Longfist."  Master Ingle said it was an exercise form design to ccompletely work the body.  He would only teach me half of it that night due to its complexity.  I did it somewhere between 30-50 times in the course of that hour.  I don't know what my physical breaking point is, but I bet I came close.  He suggested I teach it to Lily.  I showed her.  Fun times.

Figaro got into some kind of fight with another cat.  Maybe he just fell.  He has a serious cut on the back of his head.  He's walking around normally and such, but he had a huge scab.  Mom is taking him to the vet tomorrow.

Dad left town until Wednesday.  Shame I can't enjoy it longer; Lily and I are leaving Tuesday.
David is coming into town this weekend.  I have to miss it.

Dad is still a fucking douchebag.

Josh came into town.  I hung out with he and Tim.  We, sans Tim, saw Watchmen.  I was expecting to dislike it, but I was seriously impressed.  Understandably they cut a lot, and they changed the ending, but the movie was really good.  It was good in the same way V for Vendetta was good: The book was different, but they each had their own awesome strengths and weaknesses.  Just as the Wachowski Brothers showed their signature style in V, Zach Snyder showed his style in Watchmen.

Killzone came out.  Not since Unreal have I been so wholly satisfied in shooting someone.  It's one thing to click the mouse or pull the trigger on the Xbox or whatever and watch a dinky fly-swatter make sme bad guy fall over.  It's another thing entirely to feel the force and shock of every weapon and watch as enemies get torn apart.  The art direction is stellar; it's as close as anyone's ever gotten to recreating WWII in the future.

I wrote an 8-page lesson-plan in 2 hours.

I just haven't sat down at my computer in a while.  I've left AIM on.  I'll get messages while I'm away and not see them until hours later.  My bad, guys.

Peace.

(AND I LOVE YOU, ONLY YOU)
