I just got notice that my proposal was accepted to the Foundations of Digital Games conference Doctoral Consortium!!!!!!
First of all, only *FIVE* people get in.
Second of all, they pay for your airfare, hotel, and conference registration.
Thirdly, I get to talk about my PhD work in front of a bunch of people from the games industry and academia on a special day that's just for the doctoral consortium people.
Fourthly....the conference is on a cruise ship to the Bahamas!!!
