I know, I know.
I never post here, but I do read my f-list every day. I guess I'm what you might call a lurker.
Work is fairly good, same thing every day though. Kids of all ages, sizes and personalities testing their boundaries and mine as we drive around in circles in their neighborhoods. Always interesting.
My personal life is amaaaazing! I've finally met the person I was always meant to be with. She's wonderful, sweet, kind, generous, tough, funny, intelligent and absolutely perfect for me. We're getting married in Feb up in Canada. If you're in Toronto the weekend of the 18th we'd love you to join us!
It's winter, we've already had some bitterly cold days but there isn't nearly as much snow as there was this time last year. We had multiple feet! This year there's just a couple inches of powdery snow that blows away in a stiff wind so far.
I spend most of my waking hours driving some sort of vehicle. Nearly two hundred miles a day traveled between my personal car and the school bus! My few non driving hours are generally spent on the couch with my wife to be, watching tv or just talking. I get a three hour lunch break each day, since bus drivers all work split shifts. I usually spend that doing errands or household chores. If I don't do those things, I'm either on the phone with my lady or on the couch with my x-box controller.
I have tried and failed several times this year to quit smoking. I probably won't try again in the next few months since it's a huge pain in the ass and I don't really want to.
Right now I am at my secondary job, as a hotel desk clerk. I'm bored stiff, cold and very tired since it's totally opposite hours from my regular job. They fired the night guy though and needed someone to cover this evening. If I'm lucky, I'll get $60 out of the deal but it won't come for a couple weeks since this past Friday was payday apparently. The owner wants me to do the weekend nights here and there now since he can't make the new girl work 6 nights a week like the prior guy did. I don't know that I am willing to do this every Saturday. I like having full weekends off!
In other news, my parents are good. My sister passed her schooling and exams to be a licensed hair dresser or whatever they call it.
Well, that's really all I got. Unless you want to hear about my tv watching? Rizzoli & Isles, Dexter, Covert Affairs, Glee.. all great shows stacking up on my DVR. Well, CA's season ended the other night. I also like to watch reruns of NCIS, so it seems that I mostly prefer cop dramas.
Anyway, I should go try to remember how to run the audit and then set up breakfast so I can get out of here in a timely manner in 2 hours and 12 minutes.
