It's Been A While
A bunch of stuff has been happened since I last updated.
This last weekend me and Igor went camping at Assateague State Park for our two year anniversary. We've made it through two whole years! Go us! He's honestly made these the best two years of my life. I don't know what I'd do without him. Camping was an awesome adventure. I have so many stories from that trip. We were camped within a short walking distance of the beach and, the best part, we saw WILD PONIES!!!
Work has been eventful, in both good and bad ways. I can honestly say my job is essentially never boring. Also, I now know that I'll be able to stomach anything that comes my way when I'm a vet. It would be nice if we hired more people though. We're definitely short staffed.
Last Friday me and Igor went to go see Colleen's plays. They were frickin' awesome! It's nice to see someone that I'm friends with succeeding in their field and realizing their dreams, especially this soon.
Before that me and Igor went out to eat at the Continental. I don't know if I've said this before or not, but that place is AMAZING. If you're ever in Philly and don't mind paying a extra for good food, eat there. The atmosphere is great, all of the staff are friendly, the food ranges from the familiar to the more exotic and everything I've had there has been delicious.
My classes are going well. Except for my World Cultures class. That class is such a waste of my life! We've barely learned anything, the teacher is boring, and the activities she has us do are ridiculous and pointless.
My other classes are stimulating, and some of them are honestly fun. I absolutely love my academic advisor, Dr. Mostrom. She's such a fun teacher.
Igor got me madly addicted to Spore. He installed it on my laptop and I honestly play for at least a little bit almost every day.
My cat, Cleo, is doing really well with my mom. Well, I guess she's not really mine. I'd like to have her back when me and Igor are living by ourselves because she's so amazingly sweet, but my mom and little sister are so attached to her, I don't think I'm getting her back.
The Pre-Vet Council is formed! Our first meeting is next week! I'm excited.
I've been pretty good about going to the gym and working out so far. I wonder how long that's going to last. Lol. I was honestly pretty pathetic when I first started, but I've been improving rapidly (in my opinion anyway). I was pretty surprised at how quickly I wore out considering how much running around I do at work.
I feel like there were other things I wanted to write about, but I can't think of anything else, so I guess this is it for now!
