I've got most of the Flashpoint minis on my pull list and I finally got my shipment from Midtown comics yesterday. Look at me, I'm all bustling with excitement because hey! I can finally read Deadman & The Flying Graysons and Kid Flash Lost (ilu Bart~~) and other stuff. I also had the Green Arrow Flashpoint pulled. So I read Dick and Bart, and then ( Read more... )

My first was a tie between Sailor Moon and Gundam W back when Mixx and Smile Magazine still existed. I loved Bleach, but after Soul Society I just gave up on that. The arc after just kind of broke me. DGM is WONDERFUL and lovely and the manga-ka is taking (another) break so she's leaving one of my fave characters in absolute limbo. Which makes me sad. **uses Lavi icon for the hell of it** FMA, Ouran, Trigun are wonderful. I'd also try Outlaw Star & Cowboy Bebop. Death Note was good up to a specific point where I dropped because of characters. I haven't read the rest, though I hear Vampire Knight is awesome.

But yes, I will definitely tell you what are good issues. I'll probably flail madly over a lot of them. And I might be reviewing for a friend's website. We'll see. If you're a Batman family fan, I'd say World of Flashpoint 2 (Jason Todd? Is a priest. It makes me laugh.) and Deadman & The Flying Graysons fill me with such love and D: because that family. Man, that family. Gorgeous and wonderful and so very close knit. I've been enjoying Batman & Robin (because Damian is an adorable little thing). But honestly, scans are worth it. Especially when broke.

Lavi!! I LOVE Lavi! (uses my own Lavi icon)

I have seen Bebop, never saw Outlaw Star, but have been told I should have. Death Note got... WEIRD. It's like FMA's first anime after Maes' death. (Do not get me started on that, I love that man more than is healthy) Brotherhood is wonderful.

That works. I'll try to semi keep up with Flashpoint. If I can find scans. My old scan place is down, I have issues getting the good ones from the replacement because it keeps going down, and one group I visit doesn't always have the ones I'd like. And my Extremis TPB is buried somewhere in my other room and I had to get scans for it because of a crack fic I'm working on.

Mm, redhead. (and for a laugh, check THIS out). I'm all sulking because of where she left him and Bookman in the manga before she took a break. Am all very fussy and unhappy right now. and KANDA. **mumbles and wails about DGM....the ONLY manga she keeps up with (roughly)**

Outlaw Star is good. If you haven't seen Gundam Wing, I strongly suggest you do. **flails are Duo and Heero** Both FMA's are good (and I will FINALLY be able to watch the original one soon because a friend is being awesome and sending me discs~~~) but I ... I dunno. Brotherhood was awesome except for the Ed and Winry which just felt like it came out of NOWHERE. (Al/Winry for the win, yes? Yes.) A couple years back at Anime Boston (or Otakon...) there was a Maes cosplayer who literally attacked everyone she could with pictures. It was fantastic. Also, I feel ashamed for this, but. Naruto. I have an unhealthy obsession with Kakashi. He's like Lavi - all secrets and hidden masks. Really, though, Shippuden is the best but there is still lots of suffering through filler arcs and lots of whiny Naruto and Sakura. ...I always tend to latch onto the older characters/side characters. Sigh.

...if you don't mind anime that has plot holes so big you can drive two semis through them side-by-side, Weiss Kreuz is awesome. Ahem. **points at icon** One of them is a redhead. I have a serious redhead weakness. He's also a telepath. He's a baddie, but. The basis of the anime is that there's this group (Weiss) who are assassins.....but florists by day. Yep. Flower boys. It's....fabulous. Absolutely. And the baddies (Schwartz) are gorgeous. :D

As for scans...I don't know how well you like braving 4chan, but /co/ usually has a thread up (I haven't checked in a year-ish, to be honest) or there's an LJ group which usually has the scans posted the day of/day after.
