And so, my sisters have decided to join me in Guild Wars 2. Even Choi joined in the action. It took a week of watching me play Guild Wars 2 on my MacBook Pro before Megan asked me to install the game in her laptop and get an account for her. An account in Guild Wars 2 costs $49.99 (around P2500), definitely not cheap. But at least it's a one-time payment only, not a monthly subscription thing. After learning how fast it was to simply transfer the game file from my laptop to Meg's, Choi began entertaining the idea of installing the game in his laptop as well and checking out if it would run smoothly in it. I searched the internet forums for topics on installing the game in a different PC without having to download the whole game again. I found one, and it even said that the biggest file for the game, the *.dat file, was the same for both Mac and PC. This meant I could transfer that file from my MacBook Pro to Choi's Windows laptop. It was such a breeze. It took us barely 20 minutes to have the game up and running in his laptop. On the very same night, we bought an account for Choi. We were playing together that whole night.
Until now, Meg, Stef, Choi and I are online almost every night. Choupy's constantly there too, guiding our progress. She mostly joins us online during weekends though, when she's not too busy from work.
It feels really good to bond with the people I love, even if it's only through our Avatars. Online is real too.
