Over the long weekend, my sisters decided to play games on the Play Station 3. The last time we used is was around a month ago. I think I was even the one who last played it when I finished Atelier Rorona. After that, we weren't able to use it anymore because of our heavy schedules - Stef and Meg due to demands from school, and me because of work. The long weekend though provided time for us to do things that we really enjoy such as playing on the PS3.
When Meg and Stef tried playing, I was out on a date with Aaron at Greenhills. They called me up telling me that the PS3 won't start properly. An error message keeps on appearing on the screen related to the hard drive. They tried searching for solutions to the problem online but the solutions provided weren't helping. They already tried hard rebooting it but they couldn't seem to get to the right screen. Anyway, since the problem persists, I guess we have no choice but to have it fixed. I suggested bringing it to Greenhills but mom didn't like the idea. She'd rather bring it to the Sony service center, although I know that we would end up spending a lot more there.
Actually, buying a brand new PS3 is not that difficult anymore. There are 360GB PS3 slims that are being sold at around PhP16,000. I could even buy a PS3 at PhP12,000. So, if the fixing of the PS3 would amount to somewhere near that price, I think I would just rather buy a brand new one.
Anyway, I hope we would be able to fix our PS3 soon. I miss playing games as well.
