Things Happen for a Reason
I have been ranting a lot about a certain employment these past months. The HR issue both infuriates and disappoints me. I wanted to start working last June, but up to now, I still have not started. I keep on asking my mom why this thing is happening to me. It seemed like when I finally was able to find a job that I am excited with, things seemed to work against me. It's like something is really stopping me from starting work at that company.
I guess things do happen for a reason. Maybe something better was in store for me. Last Friday, I got a call from Glaxosmithkline, and they wanted to invite me over for an interview. It was for the position of Management Trainee for the Asia hub that they're setting up here in the Philippines. I already had my first interview last Monday, and upon asking the interviewer about the job that they are offering, I found myself really liking it. (Not to mention the free parking and free gym that their company offers.) This afternoon, I received a message from Glaxosmithkline. This time around, it's for my second interview which I'll be going through tomorrow morning. I'm really thrilled that I got past the first round.
The blessings did not stop with GSK. Right after getting their message, I got a call from my dream company - Nestle! They finally have an opening in marketing and they are considering me for the job. I have an interview with them this coming Tuesday. I hope things go well.
After these things, I can't help but feel like maybe I am really not meant to work for the other company. Various opportunities have been opening up for me recently - and all pointing towards the path that I really want to take.
