NFL Scorecards

Yesterday I started having this idea of building scorecards for NFL data. Specifically, it'd be looking at individual games and seeing what stats are predictive of wins. The binary target would of course be whether a team won or lost that particular game. Stats could include 3rd down conversion percent, team rushing yards, team passer rating, turnovers, 4th down conversion percent, red zone TD %, red zone score %, points in final 2 minutes of half, sacks, average drive-start position, and whatever other crazy variables I can think of.

With such a scorecard, you could basically assign your own rankings of NFL teams. Another application of it would be to use them to create a scoring system for a fantasy football league. How valuable are passing yards compared to rushing yards? Are defensive touchdowns more valuable to a team than offensive touchdowns? How detrimental is an interception compared to a lost fumble?
