Cloverfield
I watched Cloverfield for the first time tonight. It. Fuckin'. Sucked. I've decided I don't like movies with the live action camera wobbling, narrated by some dumb ass who has to keep talking no matter how annoying or stupid every one of his comments are. I recognize that the documentary approach was to make it seem more real, but I couldn't take any of those alien life forms the least bit seriously. And the characters were REALLY BAD! Like I said: Fuckin'. Sucked.
Of course, it didn't help that the Twins had just choked and lost to the Yankees, and I'm a bit irritable, because I haven't slept much the last couple nights. Still, it was not a good movie. I'm sure Dan loved it, because Dan likes damn near every movie. You know what it means when you like every movie you see? You have no taste.
