The things we do for love

I rolled up an incredible character during our session last night.  Awesome stats using 4d6 drop lowest - three sixteens, two of which became eighteens with racial mods, and no minuses at all.  An incredible amount of skills, all with nice, nice bonuses for a 1st level adventurer, so a wonderful, really well-rounded character that will be both fun and useful.

Of course, it's not mine.  It's Laura's.  I had to roll for her as she's away.  So I rolled two sets of stats at once and gave her the better ones.  Mine are, uhm, not quite as good, and by that I mean I had to use my floating +2 stat bonus just to keep from having a negative Con mod.  Because most of my rolls were really low I couldn't get a decent Int score and so limp in with a sad four skills per level, as opposed to Laura's ten (almost all of which are class skills.  Holy crap, just an awesome character, if she can somehow get around the damage penalties for being a halfling).  I'm trying to be smart - picking up alchemy so I can make stuff, taking a bloodline heritage that'll give me a decent attack power - but he's going to have an AC of 12 and 6 hits.  Yeesh.  I took a trait that isn't super useful but is cool characterwise - who WOULDN'T want a trail of tattoos of ancient runes winding all over their body?

Looks like this is going to be lots of fun.  And now, i take my children to the beach while the wife works a convention in NH.  Looking forward to being reunited Sunday night.
