Whisper Chipper
mergle mentioned in a recent post
she was "chipper", and that immediately brought to mind fond (for
some definition thereof) memories of the classic whisper chippers on the
Caltech campus. That in turn led to rediscovering this classic
page from the little t. Ah, nostalgia... For the record, the specific
phrase from that little t that came to mind was:
Whisper Chipper B&G's dainty log crunching device.
When used at 8 a.m., it is about as "whisper" as Techers are "chipper" at
the time.
