Mail sure is interesting when I'm gone...

I made it back home despite PHL's best efforts (you know that 100 minute
connection in DEN? Yeah, that's what I call "padding"). It seems that my
mail was particularly interesting while I was gone; it included some real
gems, such as:

  1. A directed mailing advertising smokeless tobacco to me. Uh,
    riiiight...

  2. A bulk mailing from my cable company advertising new services...
    entirely in Spanish.

  3. Not to be outdone, a local Indian center is sending directed mail
    welcoming me to the community.

  4. A DRAM catalogue sent to one AMPRO SYSTEMS, with my address. To be
clear, we're not talking end-user memory sticks here... we're talking the
actual memories for use in chip designs.

  5. One clear plastic USPS "WE CARE" bag, containing the remnants of a
mailing that appears to have originated in Texas and was presorted. Not
much survived except for a printed mailing label; the rest has been quite
    severely torn off.

All this and more in just four delivery days! Looks like it'll be
another ho-hum week for my mailbox...
