back from CNU orientation/president's leadership program camp.
it was alright. orientation kinda sucked, it was boring, but it was good stuff to know and i got to know the campus better. PLP camp started out good but ended on a bad note. i'm glad to be home though.
it's just gonna suck until sunday...'cause the girls are still at the beach and sean is still in PA for creation. sean said he'd come up sunday no matter what, and i know i'll see the girls sunday...so if i can make it till sunday i'll be ok. =-P
i'm probably going to work 1-9:30 tomorrow. kristen called and asked me to work for her. i'll see if i can work saturday too. hopefully. make some money since people are gone. =-P that would be nice.
didn't get to go kyaking/do the ropes course at the PLP camp 'cause it was pouring rain. we went to the park but i wound up sitting on the bus wrapped in a sleeping bag because i was so cold and the camp staff was worried. another girl was the same way. that sucked. got to know that other girl after that though, apparently we have a ton of friends in common! she went to WSHS, knows deborah and everyone, was at our big grad party...how cool is that? her name's rachel.
oh, didn't really like my roommate for this week. she's in the PLP too...my first impression of her, before i knew she was my roomie, was "what a ditz." we were at the same advisor session and she was asking questions about what the proffesor had just said. and the night after the huge session we had on rules (for the camp and later for PLP), one of which was do not leave campus (for the camp), she left. didn't get caught though. whatever. we just didn't get along. i mean, we were nice to each other, but basically just worked out who was showering when and stuff. but i won't be hanging out with her at school. just not the kind of girl i can be friends with.
hung out with jon (shoney) some too. we left alex the best voicemail ever. haha.
my crew leaders were cool. go team canary. tweet tweet. lol.
sunday, why aren't you here yet? a week away sucks.
