so...i have mono. the doctor had called after my blood test results thursday and said mono was negative but they wanted to keep an eye on it, so i was just gonna go back today for another blood test. but during the really long song that we played at the handbell concert i started to faint. as in, i had blacked out enough that i couldn't see the entire last page and played by memory as best i could, and as soon as we were done i knelt down. i hoped that it would go away like the dizzyness usually does, but it didn't.
we had another song to play right after that so everyone was waiting for me. i mouthed to fran "i can't play" and went to sit in the hall beside the sanctuary. candee told me later it was kind of funny to watch because first my dad got up from the audience and came to see me, then my mom, and then sean. my dad asked if he should take me to the hospital and i said no. i played the rest of the concert and sean brought me home so i wouldn't have to drive, and after eating some soup i crashed.
went to the doctor first thing this morning and they took 2 tubes of blood. icky. waited there while it was tested then the doctor came in and said "good news/bad news. bad news, you have mono; good news, we know what it is." and talking to candee later she pointed out that it could be worse too. mono, you get over. if i had like a heart conidtion or something...kinda hard to get over that. so yeah.
allergy shot time. wo-freaking-hoo. i told sean i should tell my mom that peoplewith mono can't get allergy shots. haha. this will make for 3 needles being stuck inside of me today...yaaayy... >.<
