Japanese movies in L.A.
Wish I knew how to watch Japanese movies in L.A. theaters. Some AMC theaters here will show Chinese movies on a more regular basis and I think the Korea town ones as well. Nice to see it on the big screen 😉
But none in the Japanese areas of the city. Blade Immortal has a small run in one of the L.A. theaters.
We used to have the LA Eiga fest where they showed Rurounin kenshin all 3 movies! They were also subbed in English so that was pretty cool. I think they had the live action slip in movie as well. Don’t know why they stopped because the fest seemed to sell well and there is a huge Asian and anime fan base in L.A.
Guess I’m just too impatient too wait especuliarly when most Japanese movies on DVD or blu ray don’t come out with English subtitles. 😜
Still doesn’t hurt to Hope that Gintama live action and Mumon: Shinobi no Kuni will show here still!
