lice
Alicen has now missed an entire week of school because of lice. FUCKityfuckfuck.
She was sent home on friday, she has to be checked each morning before they will let her back in and the school nurse is saying that in all her years of checking Alicen's are the smallest she has ever seen, like popped out on the way to school perhaps because they are tiny but moving so she can't come in to school because they could jum to someone else. FUCK.
we have literally tried everything on the market, herbal, chemical, anything!!! We have a call into our doctor to get the prescription stuff because the school nurse thinks Alicen is immune to anything less strong. I have washed all bedding every day, I have put all stuffed animals in the dryer on high heat every day, I have thrown out her bike helmet, I have washed her seat cover.
I am up for ANY and ALL suggestions.
I am soooo exhausted, behind on my real laundry, needing one freakin hour with no one dependant on me. At work I am in charge of the front end when I am there so no down time, when I am home I have the kids...usually when they are in school I have a few minutes to myself to do what I want...to just sit and think. So I am frustrated right about now.
