I don't wanna go to work!
Quick update before work...(doesn't matter if I like my job or not. Mondays will always be Mondays).
The Plant Farm has been pretty great. However, they need to work on training people a little better next time they hire a bunch. I was so worried they'd just put me out on the sales floor with a radio and a phone the first day with no real instruction. Adam and Mom both assured me that there would have to be some sort of training. So my stomach settled and I was feeling better about it. But no. Got there the first day and they DID just put me out there with no instruction. GAH! Part of it is my fault, because I had opted for the working-outside bracket of jobs and didn't pay much attention in the orientation to what had to be done inside. But they ignored my preference there for a while and put me in the sales/cashier bracket. Meh. Its all worked out alright. And the past few weeks I've been mostly working in the back receiving orders and count them in. And theres a few people I've really started to get along with.
HOWEVER
One of the jobs I applied for like 4 months ago contacted me and asked me if I wanted the job still. And I said HELL yes, and went through the best interview of my life, and they offered me a job working on MOUNT RAINIER...ALL SUMMER!! I'll be doing vegetation mapping, which is a lot of plant identification, which is right up my alley. I am very very excited. So that starts on the 30th. So I've already put in my two weeks at the Plant Farm.
Other than that, just been sitting home with Adam a lot. Work makes me hurt. Been going to visit people lately too. And exploring the area and parks and whatnot. I gotta brush up on my skills here too before I start my new job.
I'm tired. I gotta go brush my teeth and put clothes on.
