Back in the saddle?

Hey guys, I'm back! Ok fine, I don't post often enough to make it worthwhile. Reason for that is that I don't feel like I have much to talk about. My life is pretty much a repeat of work and running game. I suppose I could elaborate more, but for the most part that's it.

Holidays have come and gone, and while they were bumpy in many parts, the family parts were nice and smooth. Got a Sony Bravia as a Christmas/Birthday gift, and I'm very very very happy with it :D Some of my games look incredible! The ones made to utilize the HD aspects are gorgeous!

Got hit with a malware virus early last week. Tried a lot of scanning and the like, but couldn't seem to get rid of it. Ordered an external and an internal HDD (each being 500gb), and I'm on the upgraded rig right now. Was able to save my data thankfully, but being without my main PC has been very stressful.

I feel like I've been more and more able to deal with life. My stress seems to be more manageable, my financial problems aren't really problematic and I feel like I have a handle on my spending habits. Right now the thing I'm looking for is to get a better job. I feel satisfied at the end of the day with my current job, even on stressful days, but its far too irregular with the number of service calls I get each day/week. I want to get my own place, and I gotta have a stable income before that can happen.

Medicine News! I recently discovered that there is a de facto generic to adderall. Its called Dexedrine ER, and there's very little difference between the two, except price. It cost me $153 and change for 30 days worth of Adderall XR. Dexedrine ER would cost me $7 for the same amount. Yea, I'm looking into psychiatrists in the area, its long overdue for a switch. I haven't found out about this before because Dexedrine ER is not a direct generic. Adderall is still under patent, which means the company can increase prices as they see fit. To give you an idea of how much this has been exploited, in '04 I was paying $90 for meds. Think of how much a difference there would have been if I had switched to the alternate sooner. My big concern is if there will be a drastic change if I switch meds. If everything looks ok, I'll switch.

That's about it for now, its good to be back!
