Upgrade mini review

Welcome to my mini review of "Upgrade," or as I've decided to call it the episode that was so busy kissing Lois' ass it's hard to believe found the time to kiss Chloe's as well.

Honestly I think something is wrong with me because objectively I don't think the episode was very good at all and yet somehow I really enjoyed it.

I'm new at the episode ( Read more... )

In the end it just comes down to person preferences regarding actor performance but I felt more for Corbin in one episode than I did for Davis over the course of an entire season.

OMG, so much Yes! I was not overly fond of Sam Witwer. While he did have chemistry with AM, he never seemed very interesting with any other SV cast member. He just didn't click for me. While BAG was wonderful.

We've been assured by one of the SV writers that in fact no one died. So Lois merely almost killed an entire room full of lab workers. Good thing those workers were all fast on their feet.

SV taking a walk on the ridiculous side again. But, I'm still trying to figure out how Clark brought down the top of a skyscraper, and didn't injure anyone or cause any colleteral property damage. LOL

Seems like the worst she suffered was having to clean up the S Clark burned on the Watchtower wall.

Well, that was probably a bitch to get out. Chloe has Suffered! ;)

Maybe it's just me but I thought that was actually a ridiculously mild reaction from RedK Clark upon learning about who is really responsible for a stock pile of weapons that could kill him. I'm certainly not advocating a more violent approach to Chloe -- though isn't a shove the same thing he did to her back in season three for simply showing up at his apartment? And as far as burning his symbol into the wall? What kind of punishment is that? How about a full blown computer meltdown to shut down Chloe's activities for good? That's the kind of reaction I'd expect from RedK Clark.

QFT! All of it.

Great first foray into the world of reviews. I will be pimping this out to others. :)

He just didn't click for me.
It's so good to know I'm not alone on that! Last year when I was still active on... some other site... it's seemed like so many people thought he was some kind of godsend but couldn't ever get past seeing him as poor man's Lex.

But, I'm still trying to figure out how Clark brought down the top of a skyscraper, and didn't injure anyone or cause any colleteral property damage. LOL
I hear he'll be Superman someday. I guess he can do the impossible. ;)

Great first foray into the world of reviews.
Aw, thanks. It's a lot harder to turn a bunch of random thoughts about an episode into something semi-coherent than I thought!
