Personally, I'm in favor of drafting any suitably-aged members of the family of anyone who voted for our ongoing misadventure in Iraq (unless said family member is serving or has served).

Specifically, the children (and, in some cases, wives) of members of congress, yes. So much easier to send someone elses' kids to the desert...

And, if you want to be pedantic... Technically speaking, with regard to the "Wahr ahn Teruhh", members of congress didn't vote on going to war, either.

With regard to the war on Iraq, yeah, Congress DID vote on it. That's how it goes. It's mostly a formality, but it still has to be done.

Look up the definition of "pedantic", and, given that, ask yourself why I'd say that congress didn't vote on going to war.
