cloth diapers, i grew up on them and i always wanted to use them on my kids.
it's not like it used to be back in the days. cloth/cotton diapers have come a long way from our parents generation. there are great companies all around the GTA and surrounding - Canada/US where they deliver, pick up and clean diapers. personally, i would want to wash my own diapers but that's just me. i'm not a green freak but i try to do whatever i can to better our environment, after all we only have one planet right. but i'm realistic, i understand the convenience of disposable diapers and have a selfish longing for fast and productive procedures. you slap on, take off and throw away. simple right. well if you haven't heard of G yet, you're about to hear it now.
now you can get best of both worlds. a plastic free - flushable OR compostable diaper. G diapers consist of a washable, cotton outer “little g” pant and a plastic-free flushable diaper refill. they are made of breathable material just like sports clothing so babies stay dry and happy and are far less likely to get diaper rash.
you can simply flush, compost or toss.
can't flush? it's ok to toss G's flushable diaper refills because they're plastic-free or better yet throw it away, they'll break down in 50-150 days unlike plastic disposable diapers which take 500 years!
what do you think mums & mums to be... have you ever considered cotton diapers or better yet G diapers?
