BLAH
today has been one of those days ... blah.
we got a call this morning from father Lee. mother Lee after her back surgery hasn't been able to sleep at night because of the pain. they made a doctor's appointment this morning at 11am and decides to call us at 10am asking us to take her. mind you, we were still in bed at this time. talk about last minute. so i stayed in bed and the husband had to get up.
my husband took a week off work - all this week to spend some "quality time" with me but he totally forgot that this week was when his best friend was coming back home from spending 2 years in Bahrain which meant i'm pushed back on the burner again ... we've spent the mornings together doing absolutely nothing. played a little basketball outback, made lunch and squeezed in some much needed quality sex time but in the evenings he's been out with his buddy catching up over a pint and some good old school jams down in his basement like they used to do. that's all these boys do, listen to old records of undergrond hiphop and talk about how messed up mainstream music has become..that and of course basketball.
so another week has gone by, i think the hubby feels bad so he's booked a 4 day retreat to muskoka's resort next Wednesday where we can lounge around all day together sipping on martini's in the pool.
