So....
I think it's time I actually started using this journal space for... something. NGL, I joined LJ to participate in other communities and I've been having a blast doing it.
But I feel like it's a waste to have this space here, ready and able, for me to use and to leave it sitting blank. So this is my first official foray into my personal LJ world. I'm not sure how much I'll actually post, or whether this will be anything anyone is interested in reading, but hopefully having the journal open and here will make me more inclined to get creative again.
I have to admit, I've been recently bitten (very minorly- the teeth only just broke the skin,) by the fanfic bug lately and have several plot bunnies hopping around inside my head that I'd love to get out in the air. It's been quite a while since I've gone down that road, but the idea of writing- in any form- again is one that's been nagging at me for a while and I feel like it's time to go there. I've also been, again very minorly and amateurishly, dabbling in graphics, icons, editing, etc. and am stuck on having somewhere to host/play with that.
So hopefully this will serve as my motivation to get things rolling. I'm sure a few personal posts will sneak their way in here as well, but for the most part, I'm tending toward this journal as a creative outlet, a fandom-related 'squeeing' area, and a way to become more familiar with the bells and whistles of LJ.
