So I wrote Sandi a crazy email, and it seems to be a good update.

heeeeey Sandi! Here comes a long email!

Hurray for audit! I'm sitting in Schafer (dinning hall) right now, eating and interneting and homeworking for 2 hours. Yay all you can eat! I just went and switched my major from Bio to Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. I think it will be a lot easier and better suited to me. I've come to realize that I like things changing, and even though I would see a lot of different things in a hospital, I would still be on the same floor in the same place all the time. So, I'm thinking get my degree, Navy for 4-10 years, then consulting or ambulance riding or who knows - that's 6-12 years from now.
Rugby is quite fun, I've gotten extremely better since last year in a tactical, understanding the flow of the game sense. Physically, I'm getting back in shape. I'm as strong or stronger, but my cardiovascular endurance is still shot to hell. I get these weird pains in my shoulders though, that the NP at student health said were muscles I pulled by breathing to hard, but I disagree. I think I have bad blood flow and get lactic acid build up in those muscles. I also think my neck being out of wack doesn't help, so I'm going to see the chiropractor twice a month.
I'm eating fajitas now and they are yummy. And waffle fries. And a rice and chicken casserole. And ice cream. And a ham and cheese omelet. And Pepsi. And cranberry juice. I'm totally getting my $7.08 worth.
Esperanto is sweet, but they don't offer it here. I understand that it makes learning other European languages easier. Spanish is going well enough, but I'm having issues with the rapidly expanding vocabulary I'm supposed to have. 50 words a week seems a lot to me, and I don't have the opportunities to practice outside class that would make it easier. It doesn't help that the vocabulary is thinks like 20 majors, classroom items that don't exist here anymore (chalk, blackboard, paper). Do you have whiteboards or blackboards there? Or is there even a board? My Chem teacher just uses her Powerpoint slides on her tablet and writes into the pp slides, and then posts them on blackboard. I think she got things right with the integration of technology into the classroom. We also do something called "LON-CAPA", which are basically worksheets, but they are on an online system with a set time due. The amount of them is not obnoxious, and for most people it isn't enough to really learn it, but for that we get paper handouts that we are supposed to do but isn't checked. It is a pain, but I think it works well.
It is starting to get a little chilly here, down into the low 60's at night. Not terribly cold, but it is adjustment time. I'm riding my bike all over the place and it makes me happy.
I attached two pictures too! One is a picture of the front of our house. We live in the upstairs half, me Sam Audrey and this guy Emerson. The other is a picture of Sams cat Rosie in a box. CAT IN A BOX!

:D
