BUT...
I need X11. To ssh in and finish off the last of my cs307. X11 was one of the only applications that didn't transfer over properly.
I know you can use the Terminal to ssh in, but I can't see the display, which is kind of important for graphics. I've tried both -X and -Y.
I have my old computer, but we leave for Montana in a few days and I don't want to bring both computers out there. The apple site only has x11 for 10.3, and that didn't work on my 10.4. It said we should use the 10.4 CD, BUT my dad isn't sure where it is. It may be in Montana.
Any suggestions? Is there another way to get X11? It seems weird they'd give it away for 10.3 but not 10.4. Ugh. We tried burning it on a CD but that didn't work (though I didn't really think it would...). I googled and googled but didn't come up with much for 10.4
Oh well. The computer is still cool.
