Well, I'm done with another Callback!
This one was more fun and less scary. Probably because there was no dancing. And everyone seemed more friendly.
Four of us were called back for the character of Little Sally. It was a cute song, but they wanted us to do it in a character voice, i.e. like a little girl. I tried, but I don't think I do that very well. Plus I was fine while practicing, then for actually singing it, I was FLAT for the last two measures.
And I don't particularly like to sing like a little girl, so I'd be more than fine with not getting the part. Though it would be fun. But anyway, I think I have a shot at the chorus. Though I don't know. I'll find out within 48 hrs - that's the policy, which is nice.
Now I'm waiting for the 9 bus. And trying to stay awake.
Mom - I tried to IM Sally, since I thought she'd be amused about me getting called back for a character named Sally. But she didn't respond. Maybe she left or something? Or just doesn't know who I am? Whatever.
Ok, that's all I can think of at the moment. I'm tired.
