Hallmark of greatness

Ree: I think I'll write this tonight, in Python.
Jmz: I've never written in Python. What's the deal with it?
Ree: I don't know, I've never written in it either.

Work continues to rock. Insanely so. I recruited Reed (above) to work in the iOS part of things with me. I love the codebase we're building. We had layoffs, but I survived. Everybody likes me and I'm kicking ass.

Still single, and frequently exhausted. Moved into Mom's house since Heather and I weren't getting along quite as well as we used to.

I'm looking, almost actively, for my own house, like, to buy it. There's places available on acres and quarter acres in Plantation - Reed's neighborhood, as it turns out. It was more than five years ago that I told Lisa I expected to buy a house within the year. As it turns out... ... ... ... ... ... ...tapestry.

I'm tired of saying that, though. I've given life a marker, and it's getting to be time to pay up. I need what I want. The difference is not as stark with me as it is with other people. I don't mean to be inflexible on so many subjects, only on a few. Maybe I'll try a new restaurant tomorrow for lunch.
