Weekend update thus far: Productive

[x] Patio cleaned and swept
[x] Bedroom porch swept
[x] Trash can hosed out
[x] Trash and recyclables sorted and taken out
[x] Coats and jackets and scarves put away
[x] Replace light bulbs on patio, downstairs bath
[x] Quick dusting
[x] Vaccuum
[x] Sweep
[x] Wash rugs
[x] Empty litter box
[x] Mop bathroom floor downstairs
[x] Laundry (3 loads plus rugs)
[x] Sort mail and ditch junkmail
[x] De-clutter living room table, dining room table, kitchen table
[x] Dishes (second load goes in overnight)
[x] Repair art on wall *
[x] Replace hairdryer
[x] Pick up cat litter, wicker basket
[x] Hit asian market for fresh produce
[x] Pick up other food for tomorrow
[x] Make marinade and put the chicken in it **
[x] Make cupcakes (still need to put icing on them)

[ ] Scrub kitchen after breakfast tomorrow
[ ] Get ice or remind parents to get some
[ ] Prep salad
[ ] Prep onions and peppers
[ ] Sweep downstairs again
[ ] Swiffer kitchen floor, front hall

[ ] Replace shower thingie in my bathroom (sprung a leak today)

* Friday night, for no earthly reason, one of the two paintings on my wall (which are held up by those velcro strip things) suddenly lost cohesion and threw itself at the floor. I think the wall might have got too warm and the glue in the backing may have given out. I repaired it by nailing a brad through the velcro strip.)

** Juice of one whole lime and one half lemon, about the same amount of soy sauce, 2 tsp minced/chopped garlic, about 1 tsp powdered ginger, five finely chopped tiny thai peppers (used more because they'd been frozen), fresh ground pepper. I used about 3 boneless breasts and 5 boneless thighs -- half a pack of each.
