A 3,000 page spending bill. 1-3 days to read it and decide whether to vote for it.
A president who demands -- and for some reason STILL FUCKING GETS -- "no strings attached" to his war spending....even after his administration has proved incapable of telling us where the LAST batch of billions went.
Congress' JOB is to hold the purse strings, and to attach them to spending. That's their function as described in the constitution.
Days like this make me want to leave the country.
Meanwhile, I've well blown my own holiday budget and I haven't even bought food yet. At this point, I have only one or two things left to get prezzy-wise.
