You should check out dwseason4. One of my lj friends is writing it. I haven't read it myself, but she's a good writer, so I imagine that it is also good.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, it's based on keeping a character I don't like at all (the Master) in the series. I'm sure your friend's writing it well, though!
