Katrina's Progress
I went out on Wednesday night, for Lee's fairwell dinner. It was good just to chat with everyone, and have a few hours away from Katrina. I miss her when Im not with her, but I need just a little time away, to give myself a little break. When I got home, Mum and Dad said "while you were gone, it really sounded like she was saying, mum,mum,mum." I dissmissed them, as I had thought she said something similar before, but it wasn't. Then she started doing it infront of me, and though I doubt she's saying it, but it really does sound like it. then when she was trying to get my attention later on, she was calling out, "mum,mum,mum, mumayyyy." I don't know if she was saying it, or saying something similar, but I am happy just to pretend she said it anyway :D
Then on Thursday we managed to teach Katrina to wave hello. Its so cute the way she does it. She clenches her fist, then opens it, over and over to wave. The smile she does, while doing it, is just so adorable too. She does need a bit of encouragement to start doing it, but im sure before long, all i'll have to do is say wave hello, and she will do it straight off.
