I woke up this morning after having the wierdest dream and just felt freaked out about it too. Ok so i cant remember how the dream started off, but i was with a bunch of people, and it had just stopped raining, i looked up and noticed a rainbow. I looked down at my feel and it was really muddy, but as i looked slightly forward i could see we were comming up to a creek of some sort. The rainbow was stretching over the creek horizontally. Then someone yelled out, the rainbow is breaking apart, so i looked up at it, and they were right. The top of the arch was breaking apart, like as if it was being torn. The more this happened the darker it got, untill the rainbow lost all its color and fell from the sky.
How wierd is that!!
Well as you all know i have been rather busy getting things ready for the baby... my belly is so big, and damnit i have lots of stretch marks now :( Damn stupid creams not working.
After all the worry about my diabetes test comming back not so good, and having to re test it, in which made me throw up because i hadn't eaten, and the baby didnt like the fizzy green drink, it turns out, i dont have it, so thats a big sigh of relief.
I went for a tour of the hospital, to see what the birthing rooms look like, and to see what the rooms i will be staying in look like. Im so glad that my section the blue team (the maternity ward is color coded for different suburbs etc) are all 1 person rooms, so i wont get stuck with anyone else, unless of course the blue team is full in which case i might have to go to another team, and i might get stuck in a 2 person room. :(
I also got to see the special care nursery, which I hope my baby doesnt need to go to, as thats where the babys who have something wrong, or are very premature go to. Doing the tour has relieved a bit of my worry about the whole labour process... but its only natural that im still rather scared.
Ohhhh i almost forgot, and i dont know how... Andrew and I bought a car on saturday. Its a lovely Holden Astra. Which I have been wanting for a while now, but knew i wouldnt be able to afford on my own, as things stood with me being unemployed. Its a 2000 model and is a dark metalic blue in color. Its so pretty and I cant wait to take it for a proper drive when we pick it up on Thursday. We decided to get rid of my old station waggon, which seems to get worse and worse by the day, and get something newish and much safer for the baby. I dont think my station waggon even had the bolt you connect the baby seat to, so its something we definately had to do. Its really not going to sink in that i have the car until I walk out to the driveway, see it there and then get in and drive it. I have been organising the insurance for it this morning, and whats great is that i start off as a rating 1 and if i keep my ratiing 1 for 3 years, i will be a rating 1 for life :) which is pretty damn good.
Well i better be off... im hungry so im gonna make some lunch, and feed the baby before it starts kicking and wiggling to get my attention for me to feed it.
