On Saturday went to Breadbox gallery to see the Shag Exhibition. I highly recommend seeing it! The Perth exhibition runs till the 13th. His paintings are gorgeous in person and doesn't even look like paintings, the only givaway are the tiny brushstrokes. He signed the art book I bought (with words of wisdom) :)
It was pissing down with rain on Saturday so I didn't go to the Zombie Walk thing, wonder if it still went ahead hmm... You could'nt see the tops of the buildings because of the fog. I've never seen this before, it was quite a strange sight.
Yesterday went on strike and to the rally on Parliament steps. The turnout was quite good and there were camera crews from all the TV stations (but nothing on the news - not that it was news worthy anyway.) and there were 7 policemen! carrying guns and tasers! but alas. No riots. Boo.
Saw a free advanced screening of a 'The Painted Veil' with Stephen starring Naomi Watts and Edward Norton. Judging from the poster I thought it would bore the shit out of me, but it turned out to be pretty engaging and it definitely helps that I love Edward Norton (who sports a pretty decent English accent)
