Right above my bed.
A few days ago I got to see the *~sold out~* Tegan and Sara show at Metro Freo for frees. Thank you Dan!!! (you are so good to me :P) He had a spare ticket for months but left it to the very last minute before bestowing it to me so it wouldn't be a waste. I wanted to give him money but he felt guilty talking it, so instead I bought us Mexican food at Zapata's (next to Gelare) and some beer for him.
No pictures because in a real 'too good to be true' fashion my memory card happens to completely fuck up and all the photos and videos (one included a cover of Umbrella from Rihanna) from Monday night are gone gone gone. It was working on Tuesday then suddenly all the thumbnails vanished without warning. Now when I try to take photos and review the whole camera shuts down. Weird.
Anyway. The concert was alot of fun and I was surprised on how much I actually enjoyed their banter (though they did ramble quite a bit) Like when one of them talked about a case of violent diahorrea on the plane then demonstrated the walk to the toilet then the walk post-toilet :P Instead of leaving the for the encore they told us not to clap after the last song and instead the whole band started to applaud us. Then they played Walking with the Ghost :)
Bah! entries with no pictures are no fun... the show almost looked identical to this.
