-Saw Gotye play on Friday and it was probably one of the best shows I've seen this year. The accompanying mini orchestra rocked my socks off. I wish more bands do stuff like this, it really enhances the songs so much.
-The show was supposed to end around 10 (so he could catch a flight to Sydney) but he ended up playing well after and even made some time to talk to people and sign stuff.
-The Fly by Night definitely needed to ease up on the smoke machine (and incense!)
-The mosh pit was pleasant because no-one was shoving and it was'nt too crowded. How refreshing.
-Some appalling photos were taken. Curse that smoke machine!!
-Saw Emiko for the first time in ages. She has a sexy Canon DLSR :P

:) He signed me CD. Was dangerous business being in that crowd for my head was too close for comfort with some guys massive DLSR camera. Jesus, man! Put that thing away! :P

Seeing Kaiser Chiefs tomorrow and The Shins on Friday! :)

Finished Haruki Murakami's After Dark last night and I was really disappointed. I like mystery in some of his other books but this one seemed so vague and pointless by the time it ended. It felt really empty, actually. Nice cover though.

gotye, live, haruki murakami, music
