The Great Escape
The latest news to hit the little tropical island of Singapore: The head of JI (Singapore Branch) has escaped from detention.
I'm sure the media is making a furore out of this, so I won't go play the blame game. Then again, my blog is open for a friendly banter anytime.
So you see, reality is nothing like drama. You don't need to tattoo the bloody map of Singapore, or the 'detention centre' for that matter, on your whole body. All you have to do is ask for a visit to the toilet and poof! I'm guessing it's a super big ventilation hole or something.
I must bring my readers' attention to the unsung heroes though. Sure, the gurkhas and 'armed officers with red berets' have been activated to search for the limping escapee, but I am very sure that there are other military units that have been activated to heighten security. I weep for you, my friends, I know how it feels. Because one bloody fool failed to accompany the protagonist into the toilet, now the whole Singapore's defence is riled.
Anyway, let's not blame the Police (I'm assuming they were in charge), after all they have been telling us all along, Low Crime doesn't mean No crime. In other words, don't blame us if things screw up.
