Right. So I don't know what happened to my plot. And I might as well call it that :: points upwards::
An exciting preview of the climatic battle in which the Bottle eventually died a heroic death (somewhat):
"The bottle struggled, and fell to the ground with a very undignified pluack."
But the evil villian (who is actually one of the protoganists) would not leave him alone!!:
"Edward stabbed the bottle. It squeaked one last time, before falling into the dark murky depths of the big black plastic bag with a dying sigh."
A well off cousin of the Bottle, the Bottle II, fared better, at least:
"A bottle shot up as Heather's aim missed, and she chased after it with a vengeance and determination that even suppressed Edward's little show just moments ago. Both Aayla and Edward waited for her to say something, but it seemed that Heather only had eyes on the bottle (which was of the high quality Stars brand and not even disposable; why anyone wanted to throw it away, Edward did not know), which was stubbornly fighting for its non-existent life and jumping and rolling around to avoid peril by the Stick. "
I shudder to think what my novel would be like at the end of November.
