i still can't believe how i am still surviving after spending the last couple of days with my (new, not so new) boss in malaysia for meetings after meetings. yes, my colleagues are so thanking me for taking my boss out of the office this entire week!
well we had so much interactions that so many sensitive things he's told me has actually made me rather scared....
and one of many topics that came up... career progression.... he said a logical progression will be to move to a job that could pay me $XXX-$XXX and that the position of sales & marketing director of a particular company taking charge of a certain number of categories and a certain number of subordinates will suit me well....
WAIT A FREAKING MINUTE! I didn't tell anyone besides baby that i was headhunted and it was with that exact position, company and exact description.
either he wants me out or i really do not know what to make out of it...
then he went out to talk me out of leaving the company and gave his opinion that while he knows my value out there, he thinks i should stay in my present company as i am well favored and my career's pretty much set! beyond even his juristrisction or so i thought he said that....
err... bleah!
and today he went on to share the 12 ppl he hopes will quit in my department! u gotta be kidding me!
as you can see... even my thoughts are just so so scattered now!
back to the office laptop and emails now! and more meetings & presentations tmr!
