In the US. In Charlottesville
I'm already in Charlottesville right now, I moved in to my dorm room 2 days ago. The room is okay, looks old from the outside, but not that bad inside. But it's kinda dirty... there were 2 cockroaches the day I moved in, one was in front of the bathroom and the other one was in my neighbor's room >_< Another bad thing about the room is that there's no air conditioner! It's summer and it's so hot in the room. Right after I moved in I got a mini fan and it's not that hot anymore.
The orientation yesterday was good. Met a lot of international students, and I even met one Indonesian! He's a third year transfer student from Illinois. Although the other international students are friendly and nice, it always makes me feel better if I get to know that there's someone here from the same home country as me. As for my classes this semester, I'll register and finalize everything today when I meet my advisor. Since we are the last batch of students coming for the orientation, I bet we are going to get all the left over classes T.T Most of the classes are full by now. I really hope I could get a good schedule for my first semester here.
