My relatives are in my house right now, so the place is kinda festive and noisy. We had a potluck, with mainly Chinese dishes. The only dishes that is Christmas-sy are a Shepherd pie and a log cake. Lol. I think this party is a success.
I have just listened to a friend pour out her sorrow, disappointment, worry and frustration. Her mum fell this morning and is in an operation right now. I hope her mum will be fine and recover soon. Furthermore, this is after her boyfriend mentioned reconsidering their relationship yesterday, so her mum's accident came to her as another blow to her currently emotional state. I'm worried, after meeting up with her earlier, but all I can do is provide a listening ear. I hope things will work out between them.
