I was amused by a reprint of a 1984 Mac ad on a CNET blog today. My cubemate remarked on how we used to boot computers off a floppy drive, specifically a 3-1/2 floppy disc. I asked if he had ever used one of the 5-1/4 inch diskettes... which led me to comment on learning computers with a Commodore 64, which he had never heard of. Am I old?
Last night I apparently fell asleep with the light on, my electric mattress pad cover on setting 7 and the book I'm reading open. I woke at 6:30am that way. I must have been exhausted.
I was watching the episode of Inside the Actors Studio last night, the guest was Conan O'Brien. I guess I'd forgotton that he'd gone to Harvard and was incredibly smart. They played a clip of an interview he had with Barack Obama in 2006. I thought I'd link here to that interview for your entertainment.
Something else for your amusement: This sign is supposed to say "End" Bush Street. It was temporarily changed on January 20th for the inauguration.
